Carrots, Karats, & Carats… What is the Difference
October 9th, 2024
Carrots, Karats, and Carats all refer to something completely different.
Now Carrots, as most of us know, are a delectable root vegetable that is typically orange in color.
Karats with a “K,” is where most people will start to confuse things a little, referring to the purity of gold. The higher the karat, the brighter the yellow color, and the softer and purer the gold. Most gold pieces will be a mixture of metals to strengthen the very soft gold.
Then, Carats with a “C” refer to the weight of gemstones. One carat is equal to 200 milligrams. The higher the carat the more rare the gemstone is.
